Water!

Sunday, November 30th, 2008

After the short rest, we’ve decided to start moving again in search for the way towards the stream. Water… we need water, Red Butterfly was thirsty and tired and she finished off the water we brought with us. I was growing tired and thirsty too, I was afraid we might dehydrated but I’ve tried to keep my hopes high, I didn’t want her to know that I am almost out of energy.

After a few minutes of trailing the stones and the green bushes, the sound of flowing water was becoming clearer and clearer to our ears. We were going faster and faster towards the (more…)

The Reconciliation

The Reconciliation

I just stood silent about three feet away from Red Butterfly who was sitting at the stone. She was stretching and unstretching her legs as she applied some cream pain reliever into her swollen legs and feet. I pity the sight of her suffering from my hasty decisions. I don’t like us being like this, we just got married and we should be celebrating it. But here we are, instead of relaxing and enjoying our honeymoon, we are stuck in the middle of the forest. I want to go back but I don’t even know which way is back, and I hated it so bad. And for some reason even my compass watch failed to tell the right directions. I was starting to believe the mystery of the forest.

I couldn’t stand it any longer so I went to Red Butterfly and hugged her. I apologize for getting both of us into the current situation that we’re in. All I wanted was a little adventure with her, and to discover new places and to experience what it’s like to bathe at the legendary falls in the mystical forest and to discover the source of the water from the stream. Too Tired To Go Any Further

Too Tired To Go Any Further

After all the crying I told Red Butterfly that we should get moving. The place wasn’t safe enough for us and we should find a better place where we could rest in. Little did she know that I was trying to track some signs of any rocks or cut trees to have at least an idea where to go next. though hardly audible, I’ve also been trying to listen for any signs of flowing water along the area. She was too busy ranting and complaining of how tired she was and how it’s all my fault why we got ourselves lost. I told her that next time I will be more prepared, and she said there will be no next time okay? Never! If you want to go, you go alone.

I can sense how tired and frustrated she was, I wish there was something I could do. I wanted to carry her, but she declined my offer this time. She was upset. I told her we’re getting near the stream, I could see signs of rocks and the air felt cool. I could almost hear the the sound of flowing water. She was so grumpy saying “what sound of water are you talking about, I can’t hear any, I guess you’re already imagining things. I just ignored all her comments and continued to be a little more attentive (more…)

Lost in the Midst of the Mystical Forest

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

I held her hand as we continued to follow the trail. Red Butterfly and I were singing our favorite song “I Will Take You There” by the Plain White T’s, when she suddenly took a halt and gripped my hand. Her hand felt cold and I could see it in her eyes that she’s really scared. Her lips even turned a bit pale, and I asked her why. She said something huge was moving just a few feet away from where we were standing at. I know what she was thinking, “SNAKE“, a huge one. Red Butterfly has a great fear of all kinds of snakes. And this one was crawling so close along the trail(more…)

the Hunters' Trail

The Hunters Trail

Due to the seemingly unclimbable huge rock formations that blocked our way, I have to decided to take a detour. At first Red Butterfly was saying we should just go back to the Happy Mountain Home, but I insisted that we pursue what we’ve already started. I mean, it’s not just for adventure’s sake but I just didn’t want to waste our efforts. We’ve already gone too far just to give up now.

While checking out the surroundings for tracks, I found a trail going towards the direction of the huge trees not far from where Red Butterfly and I were resting. The trail must be what they call as The Hunters’ Trail. I also found residues of burnt woods, meaning there must been people who came here in the past.

My hopes of seeing the waterfalls and the source of the water at the stream rekindled. I went back towards Red Butterfly to tell her of what I found. She was a little happy but more of hesitant not to go any further and just go back to what she called as the safer grounds. I had to use all my convincing power for her to say yes, it took even more convincing than how much it took when I was still pursuing her to be my girlfriend and to marry me. (more…)

The Mystical Forest Adventure Begins

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

After all was packed, Red Butterfly and I has decided to leave and start our journey to the forest. I told her to bring extra food coz it will be a long trekking and we’d definitely get hungry. Although I was hoping we could also find some fruits or anything to eat along the way. And I also prepared an emergency kit, plus materials I could use to  help make a bonfire just in case it starts getting really cold or if ever we decide spend the night there. We agreed to just follow the trail of the stream so we won’t (more…)

The Honeymooners

The Honeymooners

After exploring the whole house and sharing an intimate time together, we talked about how it could be like outside. Red Butterfly could be a little scardy cat sometimes and I love teasing her. So, I told her about how people feared wandering around because of the speculations about the ghosts and stuff. She was like, “can we just stay in here, please?” I told her that we can, but there’s so much to see and discover outside.
After we ate our breakfast, I finally got to convince her to go outside. We started to check out the back of the house and picked flowers n the other side of the hill, I’ve also tried fishing, and then we decided to go boating around the stream. There was (more…)

Honeymoon at the Happy Mountain Home

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

This is the Happy Mountain Home. It’s a two storey house that is situated at the midst of the Happy mountain with the Mystical Forest nearby. The happy mountain has this one special and unique heart shaped hill that is surrounded by a calm flowing stream which water is coming directly from the mystical falls in the forest. The house was built at the middle of the heart shaped hill. Sweet, isn’t it? and beautiful too. One shouldn’t be missing out on this kind of peaceful and beautiful place. But, it makes me wonder why no one seems to come around or to stay (more…)

Just Married

just married

We just got Married and I’m loving it, I guess it’s so obvious that I just can’t hide it. I’m smiling like crazy but who cares? I’m so excited with the honeymoon ^^. Have you ever met a groom who isn’t?

Prior to going to the wedding I had all my things packed up already and loaded it in the car’s compartment together with Red Butterfly’s stuff. I suggested it to her so we can drive straight to our Honeymoon getaway at the mountains. It would take almost a day of driving before we reach the place. No planes, buses, trains, or any other means of public trnasportation will get you to happy mountain except for bringing your own car. The road is good and I just wonder why there are no other people who travel that way. I’ve heard of the story about the legends of happy mountain and the forests, but I’m sure they’re all just myths. I’m looking forward to spending our honeymoon at the beautiful home situated at the midst of the happy mountain. This particular home that I’ve rented for this special occasion is unlike no other mountain cabin there is. You’ll see soon as we get there. Are you excited to see it? So am I!

The Wedding

Friday, November 21st, 2008

The long awaited day of our virtual lives has come. It’s our virtual wedding day, and we’re both ready to finally tie the knot and become an official couple here in IMVU land. In real life, we are engaged and planning to get married next year. But since it’s possible to get wed here, we have decided to get married now. I am excited, and Red Butterfly can’t hide her excitement too.

After visiting her last midnight, I went home and then went to bed, but I got up really early too. the feeling is like having butterflies in my tummy, and I just can’t wait. I was wondering how Red Butterfly, my bride, would look like in her wedding gown. Many things were running in my head, and I just can’t help but smile. (more…)
