I guess it’s time to take a little break from IMVU and try out this one fun game that’s been taking a lot of my time. I got so bored and so I looked for something to do until I came by this game called wooden path. Actually there’s a couple of them. There’s also 3D Logic, which is some kind of Rubix Cube game. But for now, I’d like to share this Wooden Path game. It’s fun, it’s free, and it makes you think a little… oh sometimes a little more.  Trust me it’s worth the try! I’m not really into online flash games, but this one though it’s a pretty simple flash game, it wasn’t boring at all. If you like Puzzles, this one is definitely for you. It’s one of those worthwhile free online puzzle flash games.

Xanadu Adventure and Role Playing Scene

To all who are into Role Playing Games (RPG) or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPG) but rather than doing all the fighting  for quests and survival are more into simply experiencing the scene, capturing the moments, making videos,  or their very own movies, and meeting people with the same interest as you are, while making the scene even more real by exchanging ideas and stories. This scene fits you right. Xanadu gives you that sense of either being that damsel in distress waiting for your knight in shining Armour to come and rescue you, or you could be that mighty knight in shining Armour, king or prince, whatever you’d like to become that suits you — be it! Only there’s a limitation, because this scene is classified for adult players due to some scenes, and level of violence that not be suitable to minors. As expected this scene is within the 3D virtual World of IMVU.

Here is my work of art in giving awake that pale white yet not some kind of undead looking vamp complexion that others usually end up with.

Some have those scary looking and too pale skin toned characters together with their classic vampire costumes. I have nothing against them, in fact they look fine that way, it gives them a sense of fulfillment and a feeling that their characters are true blooded vampires. But in my case, I prefer to make awake stay as human as possible, just like any other daylight vamp’s desire.

Well, he’s actually a Gothic Santa that’s why he looks different from the normal Santa. As you can see he has this skin that’s as white as snow, and most probably whiter than that of snow white, he was wearing a robe and Santa’s head accessory. He was going to give me a set of Jack Daniel’s but after I told him of my illness, he asked which place I love to hang out instead. He was pretty nice for a Gothic Santa, he gave me 50 bucks worth of gift card at Shanti’s place ^^.

I then told him to stay awhile and gave him some cakes and tea. I called Red Butterfly and introduced her to the Gothic Santa too. We had a short nice chat coz Santa had to go. He had his reindeers conditioned for winter and was worried that his Gothic Christmas sled’s black horse might be freezing outside.Anyway, I’m just glad to have our unexpected visitor. In real life, our santa is just another guy who also shares the same passion as we do and also taking up online courses.

His father told his mother of his true identity, but instead of getting mad, Eli’s mother has accepted the wolf-man wholeheartedly and loved him just the same.  From then onwards they agreed to meet by the stream every full moon. His mother conceived Eli and he was born human, but the Goddess of the Mystical World warned them that when Eli turns 18 he will turn into a man-wolf like his father, only to turn human every full moon. up to its last quarter. He said that it is the same case for all other elemental entities in the Mystical World. He said that the forest is only a portion of the vast Mystical world consisting of different tribes and Kingdoms.

Eli said that many half human half elemental have chosen to build homes in the human world, and most of the past settlers at the Happy mountain are from their tribe. That’s the reason why humans are scared to get nearby, and thought that the place was haunted most of the time because the multitude of the population  in the Happy Mountain only appears and celebrate in a feast during full-moon up to its last quarter. He said that only those with elemental blood can cross between the two worlds using the portal, that’s why he is wondering why Red Butterfly and I were able to cross the borders.

Anyway, back to the story. Eli said that there are also humans who have tried to cross the borders but failed and were left to wander in the forest, some were unfortunately killed by wild animals and some lost their fate and lives to the blood-drinking-flesh-eating wild elemental beings who have devoured them to pieces without mercy. That’s why no human was known to have come out alive, and the forest nearby the Happy Mountain became a place that humans feared.

He said that as a result of this abuse… The Goddess of the Mystical World has made the forest a one way portal, only for those mystical beings who wished to return back to the mystical world. Many mystical beings have chosen to stay at the human world and that includes Eli’s father who stayed with his mother until they died of old age. While he had to return and serve the Goddess as a faithful warrior and guardian of the Mystical Forest. Eli said that he was just one of the few guardians who were chosen by the Goddess to watch over the Mystical Forest, there are more, and we were just lucky enough that he found us on time, otherwise things could have gotten worse. He said that he wonder why I did not die of the venom coming from the snake. Any human could have died in an instant, but I only fainted. He said that the potion he gave me was only to recover my strength, and what we thought of us a healing potion was no healing potion at all, he just cleaned and examined the wound, but it disappeared soon as he tried to. Red Butterfly and I couldn’t believe what Eli just said. He said, there’s something about me and Red Butterfly that we probably are not aware of yet, but whatever it is, it’s not something human.

He continued… No mystical being was allowed to ever use the  mystical forest portal to cross to the human world again. Red Butterfly and I looked at each other and we both asked Eli, How can we get out of the Mystical Forest. He said the only way is to go to the Goddess of the Mystical World and ask for permission. He said many have tried including him, but almost none of them were permitted except for those chosen ones who were sent out personally by the goddess to hunt down the mystical being criminals who have long crossed the portal.

Red Butterfly was yawning and she looked so sleepy and tired. I made her sleep inside the tent while Eli and I talked a little more about stuff. I was glad we found a new friend in Eli, he looks so wild in the outside, but still human in heart. He told me to get enough rest because he will be taking us to the Ruins of the Lost Temple of Xu the next day.

I was lying down comfortably inside a tent and I got so confused thinking if I was dead, just dreaming, or everything that happened before I passed out was for real or not.  The last thing I could remember was the scene at the stream but here I am in a completely different setting. The surroundings was already dark and I got up quick worried about whatever happened to my dearest Red Butterfly. When I managed to sit up I noticed I was wearing a different set of clothes, and the snakebite was nowhere to be found.
I could not tell whether I’m just dreaming until I heard two people conversing outside the tent. I went out to see Red Butterfly and a Man Wolf! “Get away from her!” I exclaimed, while Red Butterfly was trying to calm me down. “Baby! It’s alright! he’s the one who saved us from the great danger awhile ago, he saved you life too!” I calmed down and sat down by the bonfire as the stranger introduced himself to be one of the guardians of the Forest. His name is Eli The Wolf, a mystical forest guardian from the wolf tribe. He is half human and half wolf.

The Bonfire

Red Butterfly gave me something to eat and drink while narrating what exactly happened earlier. She said that the snake was about to bite me when Eli The Wolf came and struck the snake dead using his magical bow and arrow. He then took me out of the stream and made me drink his anti poison potion to stop the venom from spreading all throughout my system. He poured some magical healing potion into the wound, and Red Butterfly said the wound disappeared as if it never existed at all. Eli then made a palatable dish out of the snake, and brought in some fruits for Red Butterfly to eat. Red Butterfly changed my clothes while I was sound asleep.

I thanked Eli The Wolf for saving my life. We told him about what happened to us, the whole thing about getting lost and he told us about the mystical forest and his story…

I was almost at the brink of the stream when the snake caught up and bit me on the leg. I could only see blood gushing out of the bite wound  and it was washed away soon as it merged with the flowing water. The snake  slowly started encircling itself around me… Red Butterfly was crying out for help… and I was starting to feel really weak, my sight was starting to get blurry, the snake was going to bite me on my neck as I was struggling gripping it by the part near it’s head. as I was trying to pull away… but I was too weak and no match for something so wild and too strong…

I thought it was the end… then I heard someone and something  got struck before I completely passed out.

After a few minutes of trailing the stones and the green bushes, the sound of flowing water was becoming clearer and clearer to our ears. We were going faster and faster towards the direction where the sound was coming from. After a long tiring journey, finally, Water! We didn’t care about going home or where this journey would lead us to, for now, all we needed was water and we’re almost there!

Red Butterfly ran fast, as I was trying to move a little more relaxed trying to preserve the strength I’ve got left to reach the stream. She screamed, Water! Baby there’s water and the stream! We found it!!!!

I dropped just by the stream and struggled to get myself drenched in water. I drank thru my hand and I felt so rejuvenated. This water wasn’t anything like I’ve ever tasted before.. It’s clean, and sweet, or maybe it’s just me… maybe I was just too thirsty.

We bathed and cleaned ourselves and enjoyed the feel of the clean flowing water when suddenly I felt like something was coming our way moving really fast and when I looked at the direction where the splash was coming from I saw a huge snake!
