I held her hand as we continued to follow the trail. Red Butterfly and I were singing our favorite song “I Will Take You There” by the Plain White T’s, when she suddenly took a halt and gripped my hand. Her hand felt cold and I could see it in her eyes that she’s really scared. Her lips even turned a bit pale, and I asked her why. She said something huge was moving just a few feet away from where we were standing at. I know what she was thinking, “SNAKE“, a huge one. Red Butterfly has a great fear of all kinds of snakes.
