After all was packed, Red Butterfly and I has decided to leave and start our journey to the forest. I told her to bring extra food coz it will be a long trekking and we’d definitely get hungry. Although I was hoping we could also find some fruits or anything to eat along the way. And I also prepared an emergency kit, plus materials I could use to help make a bonfire just in case it starts getting really cold or if ever we decide spend the night there. We agreed to just follow the trail of the stream so we won’t get lost.
It was a little cold along the way, perhaps it’s because of the cold flowing water plus the trees are so tall the sun hardly penetrates the woods.

I have never seen such a pretty amazing sight before. I have one word for it, “beautiful!” For beach bums like us, we’re not really used to being surrounded by so much trees, and gigantic to be exact. I couldn’t even tell what kind of trees they were.
Being in a some kind of adventure like this felt like being kids again going on our very first trek and trail adventure. We just laughed and held hands on our way to the forest. But after a long trekking and following the stream’s trail, the way started getting too difficult to climb coz the water from the stream was flowing from underneath of a cliff like huge rock formations.
I knew for sure that Red Butterfly being an inexperienced cliff, rock, and mountain climber won’t be able to make it. I was doubting if I could even do it myself. And to think that I have experienced doing a little mountain and rock climbing in the past. So I told her that we better do a detour and try to find our way around. she said she was tired and hungry and so we rested first and I told her to prepare the food while I went off for a short walk not far from where she settled at.
